Richards Bay - The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone Company SOC Ltd in its commitments to facilitate initiatives aligned with the governments’ transformation programme of action, aimed at developing SMMEs for inclusivity and participation in the mainstream economy will on the 22nd of May 2023 officially welcome the beneficiaries of its Nal’ithemba Enterprise Development Programme (NEDP).
Nal’ithemba Enterprise Development Programme seeks to respond to the needs to develop, skill and support local Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) towards greater participation in the RBIDZ’s investment activities whilst it further aims to complement the company’s industrial investments through upstream and/ downstream participation by local SMMEs, resulting in localisation that will lead to job creation and contribution towards inclusive growth.
The programme further focuses on creating business linkages and investor collaborations with the intention to promote production efficiency, productivity growth, technological and managerial capability development for local SMME’s.
