Richards Bay – The RBIDZ Board Chairperson, Dr Sakhile Ngcobo welcomes the clean audit opinion attained by the entity for the 2021/2022 financial year from the Auditor-General.

The RBIDZ regards this as an achievement and commitment by the company towards ethical conduct and adherence to good governance. It is important to highlight that the audit outcome is as a result of concerted efforts by the company in implementing proper internal controls to manage performance and financial information.

“Driven by the significant role of this Special Economic Zone, the commitment is embedded in our hearts that we deliver to our mandate prudently to maintain the integrity of the entity”, emphasized Ngcobo.

‘We are indeed pleased with the recognition and findings from the Auditor General and we extend our gratitude for the continued guidance and support’.

Ngcobo further congratulated the RBIDZ CEO, CFO and entire management for such a pleasing achievement.
