The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone recognises the AFRICA DAY – 25 May

The African Continent celebrates Africa Day today, which is the day that marks the founding day of the Organisation of African Unity in 1963 and has been in the past decades celebrated to revive the spirit of Ubunye.

The province of Kwazulu Natal hosts yet again the African Renaissance Conference at the Durban ICC. The conference is the reminder   of where the Africans are coming from and seek to reinforce and affirm solidarity amongst African people.

The means to unite the people of the continent will never cease to exist.  And it is expected that when the Africans unite the spirit of Ubuntu is revived and the fight that our heroes and heroines fought will forever be a reminder of the journey of the African child.

The Africans today pride themselves as the roots of the Continent and are also acknowledging the riches within the Continent that should benefit and empower the African child. The resources that the continent possess should be utilised in all respects to bridge the gap of inequality and poverty in the Continent.

Significantly, the growth of the continent’s economy lies in the natural riches that Africa has, and  it is in the hands of the brothers and sisters of Africa to unite and  interrogate  ways  to utilise such riches for the betterment of an African child.

Africans Unite to build a better future for all”.
